Discovery Voyages commissioned Meredith Zielke and Yoni Goldstein
to produce a signature marketing video for Captain Dean
Rand and his Alaskan ecotourism boat, The Discovery.
Named
after one of Captain Cook's ships, The Discovery is
a nimble and meticulously outfitted yacht on Alaska's Prince
William Sound. Working closely with the crew of the ship
and Captain Rand's deep familiarity with the ecosystem,
Standing Point Films produced a lush, cinematographic exploration
through one of the world's richest marine environments.
Filming
with Discovery
Voyages, Standing Point Films documented the lichen
forests, calving glaciers, roaming whales, and kayaking
excursions in breathtaking high definition.
We
are currently editing the Alaskan footage and will upload
footage to the site in the upcoming months.
